DRAFT. Text marked like [this] must be filled in before this policy is published.
The short version
- No automatic renewal. You pay for one period at a time. To cancel, simply do not renew.
- 7-day refund on your first paid plan. If your business has never had a paid plan before, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of the plan being switched on.
- Always refunded: a double payment, an amount paid above the price, or a payment we could not switch on.
- Approved refunds reach you within 7 working days, to the account you paid from.
1. Cancelling a plan
- Paid plans do not renew on their own, and we never debit your account automatically. Each period (monthly or yearly) is paid for separately.
- To cancel, just do not pay for the next period. Your plan stays fully active until its last day. Nothing else is needed.
- After the plan ends:
- new entries and syncing stop;
- Settings stays open, so you can download a backup or Excel copy;
- your data is kept, and renewing brings everything back. See the Terms of Use, section 6.
- To close your account fully, use Settings → Delete account (see the Privacy Policy).
2. When you get a refund
| Case | Refund |
|---|---|
| First paid plan, within 7 days. Your business has never had a paid TALLISFY plan before, and you ask within 7 days of the plan being switched on. | Full amount paid, including GST. Once per business. |
| You paid twice for the same plan, or paid more than the amount shown | The extra amount, in full |
| We received your payment but could not switch on the plan within 3 working days, and you do not want to wait | Full amount paid |
| We stop offering the Services, or remove a main feature you paid for during your paid period | Pro-rata refund for the unused period |
| We change these terms or a price in a way you do not accept (see Terms, section 17) | Pro-rata refund for the unused period |
When there is no refund
- For the unused part of a plan after the 7-day window. This includes renewals, and yearly plans stopped part way through. The plan keeps working until its last day.
- The Free plan, and any free trial or free access, because nothing was paid.
- An account closed by us for a serious breach of the Terms of Use (such as making fake invoices), except where the law requires a refund.
If a coupon or discount was used, the refund is of the amount you actually paid.
3. How to ask for a refund
- Write to [support@tallisfy.com] from your registered email, or use the WhatsApp number shown in the app. Give:
- your business name;
- the payment reference (UPI or bank transaction number);
- the reason.
- We reply within 2 working days.
- Approved refunds are sent within 7 working days to the same UPI ID or bank account you paid from.
- For a refund of a payment that carried GST, we issue a GST credit note as section 34 of the CGST Act requires.
If you are not happy with our answer, contact the Grievance Officer.
4. Money debited but payment failed
Sometimes money leaves your account but does not reach us, for example when a UPI payment fails. In that case:
- Your bank or UPI app returns it automatically, within the time limits set by the Reserve Bank of India for failed transactions.
- If it is not returned within those limits, contact your bank first. Then contact us, and we will help with the details we have.
